Are you interested in Clan MacNeil’s heritage?  Do you want to discover information  about your family ancestry and where your ancestors lived? Do you want to visit the homelands of your ancestors in Scotland or Ireland? Do you want to meet other MacNeils from around the world? Would you like to receive information about the Clan MacNeil Associations in America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand?

Clan Macneil Associations throughout the world have contributed and supported those with our clan lineage and history through DNA projects, scholarships, highland games, social media sites and
publications.

Our vision as Clan Macneil Global Alliance (CMGA) is to assist in
furthering the interests and sphere the influence of Clan Macneil, to include strengthening and sharing the bond of fellowship among
individuals whether they are members of or associated with our Clan Associations, or among Clan folk generally, throughout the world.

CMGA wishes to share information of particular interest to the global descendants of families of our clan and Septs (families associated with the clan) who lived in past years both in the islands of Barra and Gigha, Knapdale, Kintyre Peninsula, and the islands of Colonsay, Islay and other areas of Scotland and Ireland.

This site has been established by the Clan MacNeil Global Alliance committee with representation from the clan associations in
America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We invite to have
representation from other countries as well. CMGA stands alone from the kindred Clan Macneil associations.
